Weed Army Community Hospital currently has both the Moderna and Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccines.


WACH will begin vaccinating children ages 5-11 once supplies become available, start date is TBD. Pediatric (5-11yo) vaccines will not be offered on the same day as adult vaccines; scheduling and dates TBD.

Pediatric (5-11yo) vaccines should not be scheduled on this website. An additional website will be available when Pediatric vaccines become available.


For individuals who received either the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine primary two-dose series, the following groups are eligible for a single COVID-19 booster shot six or more months after the initial series:

  • 65 years and older
  • 18 years and older with underlying medical conditions
  • 18 years and older who live in long-term care settings
  • 18 years and older who work or live in high-risk settings

Important considerations for Booster does are as follows:

  • If a patient is immunocompromised, their 3rd dose booster may be 1 month after the 2nd dose
  • Mix and match administration of a COVID-19 vaccine booster dose following receipt of a FDA approved or EUA COVID-19 vaccine primary series is authorized. Any of the FDA approved or authorized COVID vaccines may be used for the booster dose.


The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine (https://www.fda.gov/media/144638/download)

  • is a two-dose vaccine
  • is approved for use on those who are 18 years and older
  • should be given 28 days apart, pending COVID-19 vaccine availability

The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine (https://www.fda.gov/media/153716/download)

  • is a two-dose vaccine
  • is approved for use on those who are 12 years and older
  • should be given 21 days apart, pending COVID-19 vaccine availability

Appointment information:

  • You will need your military ID/CAC or government issued identification. If you are a TRICARE beneficiary in an occupational category, such as a nurse, teacher, or first responder, which authorizes you to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, you will need to provide proof of your role, for example, school ID or hospital ID.
  • Any individuals who cannot be verified will not be able to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
  • COVID-19 safety precautions, including social distancing and wearing an appropriate mask, will be enforced.

Common Issues/Errors When Booking Appointments: If you are having issues booking an appointment, please ensure you check the following common issues/errors before contacting the COVID-19 Vaccine Appointment email inbox:

  • Use slashes for your birthdate and dashes for your phone number
  • When accessing the calendar, click on the actual date number, not just the blue box
