Schedule your COVID-19 Vaccine (Moderna or Pfizer) at the Robert E. Bush Naval Hospital, Clinic D

Beginning 2 Nov 21, Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms will begin offering the Moderna booster COVID-19 vaccine to eligible beneficiaries for ages 18 years and older in Clinic D, Monday Through Friday from 0800-1600. Pfizer COVID-19 boosters continue to be available for ages 18 and up. Pfizer and Moderna boosters are approved for use six months after completing the initial series. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability or appointments can be made by using this appointing portal or calling 760-830-2698. The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine continues to be available for ages 12 years and up as a primary series. The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine continues to be available for ages 18 and older as a primary series.

For those that received the Johnson and Johnson (J&J) COVID vaccine initially, you are also eligible to receive a Pfizer or Moderna booster COVID-19 vaccine beginning two months after your initial J&J vaccine. We do not have J&J but to locate a local civilian location to receive a J&J booster check myturn.ca.gov or vaccines.gov.

**For those interested in obtaining the Johnson and Johnson COVID vaccine, please utilize vaccines.gov or myturn.ca.gov to find a site in the local area.**

ELIGIBILITY:

• TRICARE beneficiaries

• DoD civilian employees

• DoD contractors

• Active duty members and reservists

THE FOLLOWING MAY PREVENT YOU FROM RECEIVING THE VACCINE:

• Having received the smallpox vaccine within the last 28 days of your scheduled COVID-19 vaccine appointment

• History of anaphylaxis to other vaccines or COVID-19 vaccine components

• Being in isolation with COVID-19 or in quarantine after exposure to COVID-19

• If you will not be in the area to receive your second dose

• Scheduling your second dose before the recommended window (earlier than 28 days after your first dose of Moderna & earlier than 21 days after your first dose of Pfizer)

SECOND DOSES:

• Please bring your COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card when returning for your second dose. Reference this card when scheduling your 2nd dose.

• If you are attempting to book an appointment for your 2nd dose but are unable to find available appointments, contact (760) 830-2698 for scheduling assistance.
